Are you wanting to get a Power BI test tenant to try things out with?

I think you’ll agree with me when I say:

It seems really complicated to get a tenant up and running so you can test or evaluate Power BI and all of its features.

Or is it?

It turns out there are just a few simple steps that can get you up and running with a Power BI test tenant.

In this video, I show you the three steps you need to take to get a managed trial Office 365/Azure Active Directory tenant and to have access to all of the features within Power BI. You can use this as a Power BI Test Tenant.

Why does having a Power BI test tenant matter?

In order to see the Power BI admin experiences, you have to be a managed tenant and in the Global Admin role within Office 365/Azure Active Directory. This also allows you to see what Power BI would look like for your organization when it comes to license assignment and account management.
